Home is a Point in Time, a solo art exhibition by Stella Ituze, feb 28th 2026

Home is a Point in Time looks at what it’s like to live between places, where not living where you belong can make it hard to fully invest in the people and communities around you. The exhibition is the artist’s way of rooting herself and a visual call to others to do the same: to create, connect, and root. It redefines home—not as a fixed place, but as something made with the people and communities around us, something that stays with us even when we move.

Composed of photographs and fragments from the artist’s personal history, the art pieces redefine home as a collection of moments and memories. The figures exist in fluid, shifting spaces where clothing, skin, and surroundings are woven from repeating patterns: a silhouette of a hug, representing the people and versions of the self carried across geographies, and imagery inspired by Sauti Sol’s Short N Sweet, a reminder that home—like a song—can be brief yet complete.

Each piece shows that home has already existed—at kitchen tables, on dance floors, in the arms of friends, in borrowed rooms that somehow felt whole.
